ISLAMABAD: Water and Power Minister Abid Sher Ali said that the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif did his job efficiently and made the country’s defense invulnerable.
Talking to the media outside parliament house on Monday, he said that Gen Raheel Shareef is pro-democratic and set a good example by not seeking extension in his service.
“Everyone is extremely proud of him. He proved his abilities in the war against terrorism and stood tall amongst his contemporaries,” Abid lauded.
“Generals like him are born after centuries. His services to eliminate of terrorism from the country would be remembered in history forever,” the minister said.
